Foster's Toss n'Treat

Why a weighted treat bag? We wondered the same thing when asked by Louise to make one. If you train in a barn or other building with a dirt floor, this is the ideal treat bag. Then add a weight and you have the perfect tool to teach “get outs,” retrieves or driving a line. The hard part was finding the perfect weight (our secret). Now, after a year of testing, we have Foster’s Toss n’Treat. To toss, put treats in the pouch (the treats counterbalance the weights) and holding it along the edge with the weights, “flick” it like a Frisbee, causing it to spin.

This is a tough treat bag. The outer layer is made of heavyweight 600 denier polyester with a waterproof PVC coating. When dirty, just wipe or rinse clean. The inner liner wraps over the side edges so there are no exposed threads and is also made of waterproof polyester. This makes cleaning easy: after each use, just rinse the inner liner with dish detergent and water and let air dry overnight. No more foul-smelling treat bags! Or machine wash, cold water and hang to dry. Velcro, 1” (25mm) wide, closes the top edge along the entire length. Measures 4” (10cm) wide and 9” (23cm) long. Available in four colors.
