Martingale 3-in-1 Tug Leash

Our most popular leash, the Martingale 3-in-1 combines a martingale-style collar with a fur bite area and two pieces of heavy-duty shock cord inserted in the webbing that adds springiness to save the handler’s shoulder and back when walking with a "puller" or playing tug. These measure 60” (1.52m) from end to end and when fully stretched adds another 12” (28cm). A 24” (61cm) piece of thick, soft plush fur offers a bite area between the handle and the collar. The leash section is made of 1” (25mm) soft-touch tubular nylon climbing webbing that has a silky-smooth finish (no rough ridges) and a tensile strength of 4,000 lb (1,814kg). A sliding plastic 'stopper" makes it quick and easy to remove the leash or secure it after sliding over your dog’s head. The leash section runs continuously under the fur and is triple stitched to the fur. Collar is made of the same soft-touch 1" (25mm) tubular nylon webbing and fastens to the leash with acetal buckles. These super-tough buckles offer excellent tensile strength, durability and chemical resistance. Oversize 7” (18cm) handle easily accommodates winter gloves. Leashes are available for dogs with neck circumferences measuring 8” (20cm) to 20" (51cm). (See note below for measuring instructions.) Machine washable, cold water. This product has endured "destructo" testing by our volunteer Border Collie and Aussie testers.

Measuring your Dog:

To choose a leash size, measure your dog’s neck behind the ears. Then select the martingale leash with the proper range of adjustment.

• Size #1: 8” to 12” (20cm to 30cm)
• Size #2: 10” to 14” (25cm to 36cm)
• Size #3: 12” to 16”  (30cm to 41cm) 
• Size #4: 16" to 20" (41cm to 51cm)
