Slip Lead - 1/2" (12mm)

These classic-style slip leads are made of 1/2” (12mm) diameter solid braid MFP (multifilament polypropylene) rope. This rope floats, is soft yet strong and durable, resistant to UVA/UVB rays, doesn't absorb moisture and easily rinses clean. Lead measures 6’ (1.8m) in length and has a 7” (18cm)  handle, large enough to accommodate winter gloves. Oil tanned leather secures the heat-sealed rope ends and an adjustable cowhide leather slider fastened with non-rusting nickle-plated brass rivets prevents your dog from slipping out. Leather is hand sewn using heavy-duty waxed sailmaker’s thread. Heavy-duty round ring is welded stainless-steel. Color: Yellow with red tracer. Add a sheepskin tug to your slip lead for just $12 more: a 12" (30cm) long bite zone made of 7/8” (22mm) thick, 100% vegetable tanned sheep shearling wrapped around the rope gives a soft surface for your dog to sink its teeth into.
